Hi all!
It wasn't until someone brought up this subject as being a form of assemblage art, that I realized I've been living near actual examples most of my life.
One local resident is famous for his tricked-out car celebrating America, with all kinds of patriotic stuff plastered over it, and there once was a house with a homemade concrete wall embedded with all kinds of stuff, from toy cars, to tobacco tins. Sadly, it was torn down years ago.
In today's mass produced world, simply being an individual is a challenge, sometimes. Those who decorate or alter their surroundings are just as much artists as those who create specific instances of such expression.
If you happen to come across an art car, or an art house, or a decorative garden created or enhanced with pre-existing materials, take a picture! Post it here, and let us see too!
